Class Date Received

Today I was officially given my orders for BOT 13-08.  That means I will be leaving for OTS on July 9th.  I will be leaving the only car with the family and flying to Maxwell through MEPS.  That wasn't my first choice but it had to be done.  All that's left for me will be reading the OTSMAN (again) and attempting to max out my PT test before I go.

  3. I read your entire journey! The way you write is very engaging, you could be an author.
I was soo encouraged by your journey. I started in a similar situation, with no flight experience and with a social work degree major. I have always wanted to join and was encouraged by my aunt. It was then when I was filled with passion and actually believed I could do it. I didn't know where to start, so I read the entire pilot's handbook of aero knowledge, which gave me a good overview of flight principle. I also gave myself 3 months to study and buckled down like it was my job getting up at 7 everyday! Unfortunately I have to cut my study time by 1 month and am taking the test next week. I'm worried about the math because of the time limit. Sorry for rambling.. Anyways I wish you the best!! And hope one day I can serve as you do!!
